Software Engineer, Java, Fintech Permanent London Synergetic are working with a dynamic Fin-tech client based in Central London who are looking to grow their development team considerably in the next six months. The client need a number of excellent Developers to join the team on a permanent basis. Do you want to participate in the ongoing technology revolution in finance? To define and build APIs, SDKs and other tools for developers, so they can create new and innovative fintech services? Then this is worth looking at. Role We are looking for Developers with solid analytical, design and problem diagnosis skills, expertise with systems programming, high-performance applications, distributed systems or service design. Developers need to be versatile and be keen to tackle new problems across the full-stack as our client continues to push technology forward. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions. Responsibilities Support, maintain, and build APIs, tooling, automations, and monitoring services using technologies and services using a wide range of tech, including: GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Java, Spring Boot, Vaadin, Reactor, Jenkins, PostgreSQL, Swagger, OpenAPI, etc. Define REST API/JSON specification, test cases and build sample open source API code clients. Build API clients to consume data from multiple sources, normalising and aggregating formats, in real time or distributed reactive streams. Experience required Strong Computer Science fundamentals 3 years of development experience API design and distributed backend systems Relational and non-relational databases Outstanding knowledge of Java Desirable Financial / Payment industry experience Security knowledge Spring Boot framework & Spring Security Swagger or OpenAPI Specification CI/CD/TDD & Automation with Jenkins, Selenium, If you are available and interested in this exciting opportunity with a groundbreaking firm, please send a current CV for review.
