Overview

We have experienced consistent and significant year on year growth since we started five years ago. We are now a team of more than 50 people and will support almost 1,000 clients this financial year. However, notwithstanding our growth so far, we are more ambitious than we have ever been. To facilitate and support our ambitious plans, we are looking for Microsoft Platform Developers to join our team to assist with IT development across the firm working with our team to deliver new features for internal systems. We are flexible on your location: we have offices in Sheffield, London, Cambridge, Birmingham and Manchester but you can also work remotely from home if preferred. The successful candidate must be prepared for occasional travel to meetings. In return we promise to provide an environment and an opportunity that is radically different to the norm. What does the ideal candidate look like? You must have demonstrable experience in a similar role. In addition, the following key skills and experience are essential: ·Detailed understanding of Azure SQL management (in particular Azure Portal, Azure CLI, Microsoft Azure management portal, SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Azure PowerShell, Azure Script , SQL scripting, T-SQL, Function Apps, Logic Apps and Power Apps. ·Development experience in C#, .Net, Python, Java Script, Java Apps ·Preferably experience in web integration with Azure SQL, and high availability non-SQL databases such as Cosmos and Redis. ·Must be proficient in HTML, XML, JSON and XSLT. ·Experience with automated online testing with tools such as Selenium. ·Experience in hardening security cost effectively and in interpreting Microsoft Security Audit Reports and Azure pricing calculations. ·Experience with Azure Data Migration and Automation of imports : IIS (integration services), Data Import experience, Automation of imports, Virtual Machine Optimization Assessment Tools. ·Integration and API development experience with REST, SOAP and use of third party tools such as ZAPIER . ·Use of JSON, XML and experience with interfacing to main applications. ·Automation experience: PowerShell CL scripting and command batch file on time, VB ASP.NET. ·App and Reporting Development including Azure Tools for Visual Studio. ·Experience in SSRS , Power BI , BI Dashboards, VB & ASP.NET, PowerApps, Flows and SharePoint especially in secure external web site presentation of client SharePoint folders within a customer portal. ·Experience in developing customer, personalised web portals, chat bot, AI assistants would also be an advantage. ·Excellent communication and organisational skills ·Drive and enthusiasm.
