Frontend Engineer £35,000 - £40,000 Cirencester One of our friendly, close-knit technical clients are looking for a hard-working Frontend Engineer to join their close-knit team. You will be working 2 days a week from their Cirencester offices and 3 days remote working. As an international entrepreneur, our client needs an enthusiastic, approachable Frontend Engineer to come onboard and assist in the company’s growth. As a Frontend Engineer your input on design, strategy and the product is imperative to the business. Because of this you will need to be innovative and have a keen eye for the latest technical trends. Responsibilities: Design and code frontend development, delivering the best customer experience possible Develop user interface concepts and scalable web applications Ensure website accessibility Take technical responsibility for your code within a frontend engineering environment Provide a well-structured, modular and efficient code base Develop the website based on agreed specifications and graphical designs Understand business needs and technical roadblocks Learn about and champion best practices in code, architecture & processes Analyse site and page speed Skills/ Experience: Considerable experience developing and launching websites and web apps Highly proficient understanding of front-end architecture JavaScript, HTML & CSS Node.js, MVC, SVG JSON-LD Schema, HTML Microdata Gitflow Workflow JavaScript ES5 (web browser interactions) Sketch design toolkit (extracting UI assets) Agile methodology Good understanding of SEO best practices Equipment will be provided If you require any further information please contact Joe Lyons on GB Tech is your specialist in IT and Technology recruitment.
