Overview
Ignata Finance have partnered with a prestigious travel company located in Crawley for the recruitment of a Finance Business Partner. This is a superb opportunity for candidates wishing to expand their existing FP&A experience and develop their commercial acumen with the support of a well-established and hugely successful finance team. Due to the nature of the role you will ideally match the following: - Either ACA practice trained with experience of providing financial analysis for clients (e.g. creating financial models/investment appraisals) OR ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience of working within an FP&A function/experience of advising and supporting senior stakeholders. - Financial modelling experience - Previously worked for a larger business with experience of business partnering across multi-functions. Key responsibilities: - Ensure the financial strategy, planning and budget process is delivered in a timely manner. You will be primarily responsible for supporting business strategic decisions and long term planning for the organisation. - Responsible for creating and developing the forecast. You will support by providing detailed analysis to aid long term planning for the business. - Responsible for maintaining and improving existing financial models. You will be tasked with extracting relevant data to support long term strategic decisions by providing business case proposals and recommendations. - Work closely with the leadership team to provide ad hoc analysis requests/commentary. - Analysis projects including risks/opportunities and investment proposals. - Working closely with senior stakeholders to evaluate financial impacts of key projects taking into account variances, predicted changes or impacts. - Support budget holders to maintain and improve existing internal controls and processes.
