They are looking for a Returns Operative / Stock Controller to join their returns department that processes returns back in to the business from the consumer, business and contracted customers. The role is based in their warehouse and will involve manual handling for receiving and re-locating stock. Key Requirements for t he Warehouse & Stock Controller: Excellent written and oral communication skills Keen eye for detail and adherence to record keeping processes A degree of IT technical competence is preferred Ability to understand the financial impact of returning goods to a supplier Ability to work effectively in a pressurised environment Team player and ability to be flexible on workload is essential Microsoft Excel knowledge preferred and ability to learn multiple areas of a bespoke ERP systems as well as Salesforce CRM systems. Responsibilities for the Warehouse & Stock Controller: Ensure that returned stock is booked in and checked for completeness. Liaise with technical team to ensure systems are cleansed (physically and technically as appropriate) and that packaging is suitable for re-use: Ensuring missing items are reported and investigated with appropriate actions put in place to mitigate loss to the business Assist product managers with processing of returned stock, liaising with suppliers to chase requests and administering the selling of product on company website Creating part codes to ensure items for resale are correctly advertised on company website Process requests from the business for returns tasks such as remote location stock movements enquiries around warranty entitlement. Booking in parts to deal with customer repairs. Returning parts to suppliers that have been registered for return by our engineers/customer support teams. Communicating with our wider supply chain to handle returns for credit/replacement/repair, in warranty/out of warranty requests. Assist with special warehouse projects such as exceptional customer orders or configuration projects as required. Maintaining a good sense of general housekeeping within the warehouse area Support the warehouse operations manager when required and ensure compliance to security, health and safety and regulatory procedures.
