Overview
Are you a sheet metal worker, skilled or semi-skilled fitter with experience of working in a light engineering environment seeking a new opportunity? Joining the team at this busy manufacturing company as a Sheet Metal Worker/Fitter, you will be required to undertake a range of light engineering and sheet metal working duties and a range of general and electrical assembly duties. Successful applicants will be trained to operate a range of bending, cutting, punch and welding machines and will be required to use a range of hand tools to complete required general and electrical assembly duties. Applicants for this position must have previous experience of working in a light engineering or light or medium sheet metal working environment, of using a wide range of power tools and be able to assemble medium to complex items from engineering or 3D drawings. As a skilled/semi-skilled Fitter, you will be required to work Monday to Thursday 07.30 - 16.30, Friday 06.00 - 12.00. Flexibility will also be required as you must be able to work a 2-shift shift pattern as necessary.
