Overview

Express Recruitment are working in partnership with one of Nottingham’s largest manufacturers within the plastics industry. Due to continued growth, our client are looking to bolster their site team with the recruitment of an experienced Maintenance Engineer, with competencies in both mechanical and electrical engineering. Shift Working Hours: Due to the nature of the role, successful candidates will be expected to adhere to a 3 shift pattern, consisting of mornings, afternoons and nights (6-2, 2-10 & 10-6). Please only apply if you are happy to work the shift pattern on a permanent basis. Location: You will be permanently based at our clients manufacturing facility in Alfreton. You will also have to be flexible with the rotating call out pattern, which may include weekends from time to time. Salary & Benefits: Our client are offering a competitive starting salary of up to £34,000, plus plenty of opportunities for paid overtime. In addition, you will automatically be enrolled in to the company pension scheme, receive onsite training with a range of specialist machinery and equipment and will also be in the mix for any progressive opportunities within the business. Responsibilities: - Maintain and inspect a wide range of PPM systems including rotational moulding machines, injection moulds and blow moulding machines - Carry out troubleshooting on a range of electrical equipment, including hydraulics, 3 phase and sensory equipment - Fault finding on PLC’s - Carry out improvements to machinery and within the factory - Maintain and fault find on hydraulic and pneumatic systems - Work independently from engineering and schematic drawings Qualifications and Experience: - Apprentice trained in mechanical or electrical engineering - Proven experience with injection moulds and plastics machinery strongly desirable - Confident fault finding abilities, including hydraulics, pneumatics and PLC’s - Experience working within a fast paced and high performance environment Apply Now Our client are looking for immediate starts, so if this role sounds like your next career step, apply now to avoid disappointment.
