Installations Engineer Worldwide

Are you an experienced Installations Engineer looking to work for an industry leading company in a fully autonomous role that offers extensive worldwide travel? This is an amazing opportunity to work for a well-established, market leading manufacturing company and to travel the world The Role The purpose of the Global Installations Engineer will be to install client technical equipment worldwide. You will ideally live within around 1 hour of an international airport. Key Responsibilities Installing specialist equipment, in line with pre-determined plans and configurations Interpret installation design plans / CAD drawings Making modifications Working to tight installation deadlines Resolving any technical problems on site Realising high level of customer satisfaction Provide technical advice to clients and colleagues Liaising closely with department office - updating on installation progress and any issues Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge Documentation such as expense sheets, timesheets, daily log reports and technical reports Skills & Experience Electrically qualified Minimum of 2 years commercial installations experience Willingness to travel for long periods of time (6 weeks at a time) Ability to understand and interpret installation design plans, using CAD HND in Engineering or Mechanical Engineering advantageous Pneumatics & PLC experience desirable Good customer-facing skills Logical & analytical problem solver Report writing Generating risk assessments and method statements Technical mechanical skills Strong focus on health & safety Self-motivated Full, clean Driving License and valid Passport The offer £29,660 starting salary plus extensive overtime earning capacity 33 days holiday (incl bank holiday) Healthshield Healthshield Perks 9% Pension contribution This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89833889
