Overview

Business Analyst / Transition and Change Enabler The current programme delivers engineering and manufacturing capability through enhancements to primary toolsets, PLM (Teamcenter) and ERP (SAP) and associated interfaces between them and CAD tools. A lead business analyst is required to work across the delivery lifecycle of requirement capture, design, build, test and deploy/implementation and aftercare. The Lead Analyst will · Act as a coordinating focal point with stakeholders between the business users and the systems delivery organisation · Within the systems programme, act as lead coordinator of cross-stream analysis activity · Work across the delivery lifecycle to capture and verify business and system requirements in context of process and use cases · Consider the linkages between engineering, manufacturing and procurement/logistics · process to ensure solutions to business problems are appropriately scoped · Set, communicate and maintain quality and content standards for work product reflecting requirement · Create fit for purpose work product that drives design and build activity · Support the testing teams in preparation and scoping of systems and integration testing · Identify with the business the major business process and operational changes that may be required to ensure the success of technical solution implementation · Agree the approach and scope of User Acceptance Testing with business stakeholders · Support the execution of UAT and results capture/acceptance with the client sponsors · Define the business transition process and support for solution implementation · Support go live weekends and early life support including business post-go live support for business areas/functions Required skills · SC Security Clearance · Excellent client facing skills, written and verbal communications · Ability to translate and explain complex concepts (business or technical) between client stakeholders and solution teams to enable common understanding of shared goals and achievement of mutually agreed outcomes · Ability to define, run and record the outcome of effective client engagement workshops · Ability to engage and influence across the range of client stakeholders from senior solution sponsors to operational staff expected to adopt and use the delivered solutions. · Knowledge / experience of engineering design, manufacturing industry and incumbent processes · Knowledge of the Siemens Teamcenter PLM product in terms of functional capability, navigation and its application in large scale organisations · Knowledge / experience of the use of complex interfaces between CAD/PLM and ERP systems Nice to have · Knowledge of application/use of CAD products (FORAN), and ERP (SAP) · Formal training in or application of solution delivery approaches and methodologies · Working to a delivery method · Knowledge of and successful delivery using Agile delivery techniques This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89837477
