Fire Systems Engineer/ Project Manager

FIRE SYSTEMS ENGINEER/ PROJECT MANAGER - BASIC SALARY UP TO £40,000 DOE Our client is a family run business in Portsmouth who specialise within fire & security solutions. They are currently looking for an experienced Fire Systems Engineer/ Project Manager to join their ever-growing team. Basic salary £30,000-£40,000 DOE - you will also receive performance related bonuses on projects being delivered on time and or under budget. Overtime available. Company van & iPad provided. Full-time, Permanent role (40 hours a week). Role & Responsibilities: • Design, surveys, quotations, pricing jobs, managing installations and commissioning fire systems across Hampshire and the surrounding counties. • Completing the relevant BAFE paperwork. • Managing projects from start to finish from designing of the systems through to the commissioning stage. • Being responsible for yourself most of the time however you will be required to manage labour when a project is being installed. The size of the team will be dependent on the project. • Working field based initially and then moving more into an office based role as the business grows. The Ideal Person: • You will have at least 5 years experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer. • You will live locally to Hampshire and be happy to travel. • You will have a Full UK driving Licence (essential requirement). • Security knowledge will be beneficial but is not essential for this role. • FIA Units - Design, Installation, Commissioning & Maintenance is desirable. • BAFE Accreditation is desirable.
