Parts / Stores Controller

Role: Parts Controller / Parts Advisor Location: Leeds Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm ( 1 in 4 Saturday mornings) can be flexible Contract: Temporary ongoing Pay: Up to £22K pro rata depending on experience Benefits: 28 including stats (pro rata), free parking, excellent transport links, kitchenette facilities An opportunity has become available for a parts controller / parts advisor to work for one of the UK's most prominent tanker companies in the UK. Established over 30 years ago the company sells, repairs and maintains tankers for a large range of customers. With a purpose build workshop with 14 bays and over 20 mechanics you will be working in an fast paced environment supporting the successful running of the parts department. Receiving parts from suppliers/couriers and putting the parts in their allocated spaces. Viewing road tankers and trailers and identifying required parts Sourcing required parts from suppliers Negotiating best prices Issuing parts to staff Arranging couriers and packing for parts order customers Managing stock levels Inputting parts orders and deliveries into a database system Raising PO and invoices on a database The candidate Computer literate A parts or stores background beneficial together Venatu Contracting Services is a specialist division here at Venatu Recruitment Group, we focus on the recruitment of talent across the UK.
