Software Test Engineer – Scientific – Automated Testing An innovative scientific company is seeking a Software Test Engineer to help create a new Test function for their medical software used globally by esteemed scientists - solving worthwhile problems in the field. With yearly growth, it’s an exciting time for the Software Test Engineer to be involved in test strategy as well as taking a hands-on role in automation testing of a feature rich range of software products developed in house in Cambridge. The Software Test Engineer will be working collaboratively with Software Development and product team to help guide testing activities in a critical role for the company. There is plenty of chance for variety and progression in this role being a key member - helping to make a positive difference to peoples lives through this software. There is no red tape and a friendly culture where the Software Tester will be working on both automation and manual testing of cross platform C++ GUI software and on test strategy. Software Test Engineer requirements; - Previous testing of UI focused software - Automation testing knowledge using Python, Google test or similar - Knowledge of common testing tools - Knowledge of test plans and strategy beneficial The Software Test Engineer will be part of this highly talented, supportive and nurturing team in one of the best team cultures in Cambridge.
