Overview

One of my Digital Software clients are on the lookout for a Contract Android Developer with an interest in working with Flutter to work on-site with their highly experienced team in Scotland. As a Contract Android Developer with an interest in Flutter, you will be responsible for working alongside a small development team to work on a new application that will assist police forces in the UK. This role requires someone who is confident in Android development, and an interest in working with Flutter. Commercial experience of Flutter not essential. The role is for a minimum of 4 months, with a strong chance of extension as the project continues. They are looking for a Contract Android Developer who is a self-starter, and who will work independently and collaboratively, as well as to a high standard to ensure the project is completed effectively. To be suitable for the role, you will have the following experience: Strong understanding and experience of Android/Kotlin/Java Understanding of the role of the developer in the full software development life cycle (SDLC), as well as the ability to finish up a project Demonstrated interest in Flutter/commercial experience using Flutter Ability to adapt to a new company's workflow and design practices As a Contract Android Developer, you will be expected to adopt the company’s ethos and bring a real drive and passion for quality that will help shape the companies’ tech stack. You will be expected to work independently and to a high standard, as well as closely with the development team.
