Assistant Site Manager My client are growing house builder who have an opportunity for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a development based in Kent The Company The company have built an excellent reputation building quality homes for a wide range of buyers, they also pride themselves on building a quality home that suits the needs of their buyers offering exceptional customer service from pre-sale through to aftercare. The Role - Assistant Site Manager This is an existing development with approx. 80 units, working alongside an experienced Site Manager. Duties and responsibilities include: ' Alongside Site Manager take ownership of agreed build programmes at pre-start meetings and assist Site Manager in accepting and checking the full build package ' Assist with ensuring that Health & Safety procedures are strictly adhered to ' To maintain and produce, up to-date Health & Safety records ' To conform to building regulations and warranty providers' requirements (NHBC, LABC) ' Assist with ensuring cost effective production in line with development budgets by ensuring that the work undertaken is in full accordance with the cost provision allocated ' Assist with organisation of regular site production meetings and pre-plan and ensure efficient usage of all resources ' Contribute to ensuring accurate production/progress returns are updated ' Assist the Site Manager to ensure all Health & Safety, Environmental and Waste Management Policies are adhered to ' Assist with ensuring that practical completions are formulated with sales requirements to ensure mutual compatibility ' Assist with ensuring site security and good practice is maintained at all times ' Assist with ensuring level of stock control including checking and recording of deliveries ' Assist with ensuring the quality of finished product meets with warranty expectations ' Ensure all sub-contractors work within the required specification and adhere policies ' Ensure that procedures and controls are fully implemented by all site personnel ' Ensure plots are finished to high standard by taking ownership of plots until completion ' Take responsibility for the supervision of cranes ' Carry out safety inductions ' Carry out home tours and demonstrations ' Ensure air testing is carried out and units passed and carry out monthly meter readings ' Accompany build inspector whilst CML is carried out ' Liaise with Clerk of Works, ensuring his comments are carried out ' Deal with handovers to clients/purchasers/customers This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89834074
