You're cooking for approx. 60 million people, ok? What's your ambition as a Chef? Creating flavours within the Pan Asian cuisine category, made available for the entire nation? Imagine your creations on the shelves of all the leading supermarkets, for millions to enjoy every week If your food education has been within Asian food, then this opportunity could be you all over. It's a chance to join one of the most respected and popular food brands in the UK as their Pan Asian Development Chef. They have a strong market presence internationally too, but they're the first choice for the UK population when it comes to traditional Eastern flavours and exploring new tastes. As their Development Chef, you will bring culinary creations to life, with your vast knowledge of Asian dishes and flavour profiles. The position will be perfect for you if presenting to an engaged and excited customer base is something you would take pride from. Bringing the taste of the Orient to the homes of the UK is something that isn't done overnight though. This role will have you visiting suppliers in Thailand, Manufacturing in Europe and even possibly travelling across continents to meet with customers. You'd be the Chef Ambassador for the company and its brand, and with that you would be asked to lead your colleagues and team into the hottest trends within Asian food. So, for a role that allows you to create, present and manage the next best thing for the UK consumer when it comes to Asian food… you'd expect us to have a little wish list of our own right? It's not asking for much other than: You have a deep-rooted passion and understanding of Asian cuisine (your life, not the last couple of years) - Inspiring those around you. Hold a full driving license Happy flying (passenger, not pilot) You will be comfortable demonstrating your recipes to consumers and business directors alike You want to influence the nation's eating habits in Asian dishes You enjoy researching and staying on top of trends. Your career to date will illustrate this desire and you will have a genuine interest in using your culinary skills on a whole new level to a new audience than you're probably used to.
