Senior Sous Chef Definite Step up to Head Chef Position Almondsbury, Bristol £30,000 4-Star Hotel 2AA Rosette Free Gym / Spa Membership Free Parking Live-In Available Company Details This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Sous Chef to take on a role in a great location in Bristol. This venue is a 4-Star Bristol Hotel with luxury Spa facilities. With a team of 18 Chefs here, the Executive Chef comes from a classically French trained background - the kitchen uses seasonal produce, completely fresh with great flavours and combinations and they are always trying new things and open to new ideas. The menus are changed quarterly with dishes changing for Summer and Winter months. Role & Requirements The Ideal Senior Sous Chef will be enthusiastic, reliable, able to deal with costing and be able to monitor standards in the kitchen and provide necessary support required. Working at 2AA Rosette standards, maintaining high quality and consistency. This is a supervisory role, dealing with ordering, management, working with the front of house, attending meetings, utilising procure wizard ordering system. As Senior Sous Chef you will be the 'go to' person for the team with strong leadership qualities, maturity and a level-headed approach. In this role, you will be confident to run the kitchen, working in a multi-outlet, large operation. Therefore, it is important that you have some good experience behind you dealing with a similar type of operation previously. This opportunity will provide a definite step up to Head Chef within the next 8-12 months as the current Executive Chef will be leaving the business and the current Head Chef will be stepping into the Exec position, leaving the Head Chef role open for the taking As such, when this happens the £30K salary will of course be increased to £35K as expected.
