Qualified Psychologist - Home Based - Looked After Children Yorkshire Salary: £37,000 - £45,000 DOE Remit Compass Associates are proudly working with a specialist provider of children's residential homes and specialist schools to headhunt for a full time permanent Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and innovative Qualified Psychologist (Clinical/Forensic/Counselling) to join a passionate team and deliver a comprehensive consultation lead therapeutic service for looked after children. This role covers 7 small residential homes (3-4 bed) for looked after children with challenging behaviours, attachment difficulties and backgrounds of complex trauma. You would be based from your home and visit the residential homes (Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield areas) to conduct consultations with staff teams, assessments with the young people, support with ongoing need and risk issues and some scope for therapeutic interventions where appropriate. All staff are trained in DDP-based, PACE therapeutic parenting so you will have the opportunity to be involved in the delivery of training. You would work closely with an Assistant Psychologist as well as having bi-monthly team meetings. Location This role is based from your own home and the residential homes are within commutable distance from: Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Dewsbury, Halifax, Dewsbury, Brighouse, Shipley, Pudsey, Garforth, Horsforth, Morley, Wyke, Cleckheaton and surrounding towns.
