Functional Assessor, GP/Doctor, Reading Salary £72,000 pa plus excellent benefits, full or part-time hours considered Fleet Clinical are recruiting Medical Practitioners to work with The Health Assessment Advisory Service conducting assessments for the Department for Work and Pensions. The benefits • A great salary paying £72k per annum • Quality career development with the opportunity to study a Master`s Degree in Occupation Health after a qualifying period • A comprehensive benefits package • Predominately business hours • Day-to-day work counts towards your revalidation The role To conduct medical assessments and examinations, including brain injury, and produce concise reports for the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) as part of a successful integrated team About you • A Registered Medical Practitioner who has, since full registration, consolidated their clinical skills with a minimum of 2 years` post registration general experience, working primarily in-patient facing roles dealing with a wide range of clinical conditions. • Full unconditional registration with the General Medical Council with a valid license to practice. • Demonstrate maintenance of professional development to ensure successful re-licensing in accordance with the GMC code of professional conduct. Skills You will also need to be IT literate with experience of using a range of software. Good oral and written communications skills. The ability to successfully negotiate and respond to rapidly changing work environment, the ability to influence and negotiate successfully with a range of people by adopting a flexible approach to work.
