Overview
STAR Recruitment are currently working with a national facilities management company who is managing the staffing of large NHS sites in Scotland and across the UK. They are looking to employ a number of Electrical Engineers for a large NHS site in Edinburgh. This is a freelance position with an immediate start on offer that will last for a duration of 3 months . Due to the current issues facing the NHS and the UK as a whole, there is a good chance that these positions could last for a longer duration. Responsibilities: Ensure the safe and continuous working operation of mechanical, electrical engineering services and building plant to the highest of standards. Carry out electrical maintenance on all relevant assets. Carry out planned preventative maintenance and inspections or reactive work. Carry out emergency repairs as required. Liaise with Electrical Supervisor. Additional duties may be required. Qualifications & Experience: Previous experience of building service systems, technical services provision and general maintenance is essential. Relevant Electrical Engineering qualification (HNC/HND or equivalent) Experience within a Healthcare environment would be an advantage. Enhanced Disclosure check. Good communication skills.
