Overview

Exchange Server Engineer Glasgow City Centre 9 month FTC FPSG's professional services client are going through a period of continued change and progression, as such they require an experienced Exchange Engineer to support various BAU and Project assignments. Initially fixed term, with potential to extend and or convert to perm. As the Exchange specialist in the Server Engineering Team you will support various BAU tasks across a diverse range of systems and projects, operating at a 3rd line level. As an MS Exchange specialist your main responsibilities: Monitoring and Supporting all servers and infrastructure applications Leading on Exchange 2010 / 2016 Admin and support Owning a range of BackOffice products inc Exchange, IIS, DNS, WINS, DHCP, Active Directory. Monitoring and support of all VMWare / VDI infrastructure Support of global backup environment including daily checks and liaison with local IT specialists. Configuration and support of Active Directory services, Group Policies Configuration and support of anti-virus and web servers. Reactive monitoring using various tools Maintaining internal procedural and technical documentation To be a successful Exchange Engineer, you will deomstate the following experience: Advanced MS Exchange 2010 / 2016 Admin and support skills Demonstrable experience of Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2016 mailbox migration Experience of Windows 2008/2012/2016 Exchange PowerShell scripting Experience of Active Directory, DNS, WINS, DHCP, GPO Microsoft clustering Technology Virtualisation Technologies in particular Vmware vSphere Skype for Business experience O365 Migrations and Hybrid experience Reward In return, the successful Exchange Engineer with relevant experience will receive a generous salary and package with a diverse range of benefits.
