Inventory Controller Based in Tamworth Permanent Position with fantastic benefits Working for a global manufacturing organisation Strong SAP User My client is a global manufacturing organisation who are looking for someone who has extensive knowledge of using SAP on a daily basis to be the link between customer demand and operations. Planning of manufacturing demand, raw materials and support operational excellence. Inventory Controller - Key Responsibilities: This pivotal role will work in tandem with: Sales, Supply Chain, Production, Engineering, Quality, Finance and Logistics and suppliers Ensuring the organisation delivers 100% OTD to its customers Daily update of the MRP system and proactive review of supply and demand to determine new order and push/pull actions to ensure customer demand is matched Complete month-end closing activities to correctly record and report inventory movements within financial period Ensure all data is accurate and updated through regular audits of the ERP system Carry out regular reviews of Inventory categories to monitor and track adherence to targets Anticipate delivery shortages and take actions to mitigate risk to customer orders Co-ordinate monthly and annual physical inventories documenting any issues and root causes analysis, as well as making any stock adjustments Inventory Controller - Person Profile: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Finance, Business or related field. Experience of working in a manufacturing environment SAP experience is essential Ability to work in a structured manner Excellent communication skills and a flair for negotiation A good team player with the confidence to challenge anything outside of the normal Must be assertive and have the ability to challenge and adopt a flexible approach Inventory Controller – Company Benefits: Competetive Salary Bonus Scheme Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 5pm / Friday 8:30am – 2:30pm Company Pension
