Overview
Are you currently working as a Production Supervisor, Shift Supervisor or Cell Leader? Do you have experience of working with special purpose machinery and in particular in the new build or manufacturing of machinery? This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and growing manufacturing business, you will be working within a small cell building and supervising other mechanical and electrical fitters. This role has great for potential for the right candidate and there is a clear progression path for the right candidate to progress to the Production Managers position. The role is offering a salary around £30,000 per annum plus overtime as well as an excellent benefits package which includes overtime and a superb bonus scheme. Your OTE could be well in excess of £37,000 per annum. Production Supervisor Requirements: Ideally you will be an apprentice trained Mechanical Fitter The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is essential As a Production Supervisor, you will have considerable experience of building new bespoke machinery such as conveyor systems, packaging machinery, x-ray or detection equipment Strong leadership qualities are essential as well as the ability communicate clearly at all levels Supervisory/Management experience is essential Production Supervisor Responsibilities: The Production Supervisor will be required to be hands-on assisting the build of new machinery for customers As a Production Supervisor you will be required to undertake various management duties.
