Manager opportunity in SME Accounting & Business Advisory offering client and team management responsibilities within an established North West Accountancy & Advisory Practice. THE COMPANY An established Chartered Accountancy & Advisory Practice with a strong presence in Manchester and Lancashire, specialising in advising OMB's and high-growth SME's typically c.£1m - £30m t/o. As a full solution practice the firm provides expert Audit, Accounts, Tax planning, Business Services, Restructuring and Corporate Finance solutions to its growing client base. THE OPPORTUNITY A Manager opportunity has arisen within the firm's SME Business Advisory Team the offering a chance to work closely with business owners and to achieve long-term career development. Working in an experienced team of Accountants, Managers and Directors you will play a key role in delivering Year-End Accounts, Audit services, Monthly / Quarterly Management Accounts, Tax advice and Business Advisory solutions to a portfolio of small businesses. Key duties & responsibilities will include: Supporting Directors with management of the Accounts / Business Services team responsible for accounts preparation, VAT and Xero Bookkeeping for smaller clients Overseeing delivery of Accounting / Business Advisory solutions to clients Preparing Year-End Accounts for larger SME's and Owner-Managed businesses Managing a small number of Audit procedures for larger clients Producing Management Accounts and Business Analysis Reports for clients seeking growth You will benefit from: Opportunity for long term career progression in a growing Manchester office Attractive salary and benefits package Flexibility in working hours THE PERSON You will be an Accountancy professional able to demonstrate the following: ACA / ACCA Qualified or Qualified By Experience Background within Chartered Accountancy Practice (c.4 - 5 years minimum) Broad Accounts and Business Services / Advisory experience Client focused approach, able to advise clients on a range of accountancy and business matters If you are currently working in a Chartered Accountancy Practice and are seeking an opportunity within a reputable practice offering a great future please contact Alastair McLean at Lucas McLean Recruitment to discuss current career opportunities.
