Overview
Ignata Finance are working with an international organisation located in Horsham for the recruitment of a Financde Business Partner. Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for managing key stakeholder relationships, involved in new projects as well as supporting the budgeting and forecasting process. This is a newly created role which will provide you with valuable exposure to key decision makers within the business. You will be supported by a dedicated team with the aim of developing you both in terms of your skillset but also your emotional intelligence and ability to lead in the future. This is a highly commercial opportunity which will require applicant to have experience of the following: ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified (or an active studier) Experience of analysing large quantities of financial data, providing commentary and presenting using PowerPoint Experience of M&A would be helpful but not essential You must have experience of budgeting and forecasting Experience of building pricing models would be highly desirable Key responsibilities: Responsible for monitoring company profitability and cash flow. Creating profitability models/cost models using Excel Play a pivotal role during the budgeting and forecasting process. This will involve managing various stakeholder relationships obtaining the relevant information during the planning process through to completion . You will be tasks with producing ad hoc financial reports, commentary and advising on spend (concentrating on and risks) Keep a close eye on competitor information and ensuring this is communicated to the business (playing close attention to market spend and again any risks) Support the project team with new initiative and financial planning/investment appraisals Support M&A activity when required Involvement in strategic planning Support sales and operations with ad hoc reports Assist with commission analysis and driving sales incentives Support junior staff and provide training
