Assistant Team Manager - Support and Safeguarding Salary: £43,526 - £45,749 per annum (inclusive of market supplement) Ref:CS01784 Permanent Full Time County Hall, Trowbridge Summary Assistant Team Manager - Support and Safeguarding Our Support and Safeguarding team works with some of the most vulnerable children in Wiltshire, including children and their families requiring support as part of our Early Help offer, children in need, children subject to child protection planning and children who are the subject of family proceedings. We also support some of our looked after children and young people awaiting permanence via court proceedings and adoption. Family Key Workers provide early help support to children and Social Workers work with families from the outset of involvement to permanence and this a significant strength in our service. LIVE ∙WORK∙ CARE About the role of Assistant Team Manager As an Assistant Team Manager here, you’ll play a pivotal part. Whether leading your team of Social Workers using data and audits to quality assure our effectiveness, you’ll keep the needs of the county’s vulnerable children and young people firmly at the heart of our journey to Outstanding. You will be part of cohesive management team with regular supervision. You will be supporting your manager to direct, co-ordinate and provide leadership to all staff within your dedicated team. You must be qualified to a DipSW level or equivalent and be registered as a social worker with Social Work England.
