Overview
Due to an internal transfer, Shawcor UK Ltd are looking for a Financial Planning Analyst to join the team based in Great Yarmouth. This is a busy and varied role within a small finance team. As the Financial Planning Analyst your responsibilities will include: Financial analysis of project profitability. Financial forecasting by branch and project revenue contribution and fixed cost. Assisting with the development of accounting systems including Microsoft Dynamics, Great Plains and Longview. Reconciling balance sheets and forecasting cashflow. Preparing month, quarter and year end results, journals and accruals. Assisting with any internal or external audits. Providing analysis and planning on cost control and project margins. We are keen on speaking to anyone with the following skills and experience: ACCA or CIMA qualified / part qualified accountant. Multi-currency experience. Demonstrable Excel experience. Excellent analytical skills. Incorporated within the Integrity Management division of Shawcor is Shaw Pipeline Services (SPS) and Shawcor Inspection Systems (SIS). These companies provide a range of NDT services, with SPS focusing on pipeline weld inspection services to the oil & gas industry, and SIS specialising in the design and supply of industrial radiography equipment to various industries including aeronautical, nuclear, space and oil & gas. Your analyst position reports to the financial controller based in Scotland and with a dotted line to the group financial planning analyst in Houston. In return, you will receive a salary of £33,000 - £36,000 pa plus 25 days annual leave, with an additional 8 bank holidays.
