Rail HV Project Manager

Our client is a major rail contractor delivering substantial engineering works across Scotland and North of England. With works already well under way, we are looking to recruit a capable and established power engineering project manager to lead the works in Edinburgh.Reporting into the project director, the successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the safe, timely and on-budget delivery of the works whilst managing relationships between the client, key stakeholders and the sub-contract supply chain.Applicants must meet the following criteria:Demonstrable project management experience on major engineering schemes.Applicants must have project managed major rail power engineering schemes - we will be unable to consider applicants without this specific industry experienceApplicants must have an HV power engineering background themselves with technical knowledge up to 25kv / 33kv.Ideally educated to degree level in a relevant discipline, which HNC as a minimumCandidates must have a formal project management qualificationHighly commercially awareExcellent stakeholder management skillsCommitted to a zero incident safety cultureCurrently based in the UK and fully eligible to work in the UKHappy to be based in EdinburghThis position is a permanent role offering an excellent salary and package and the chance to work with a major player in the UK rail industry.
