Overview

The Role The primary responsibility of the Revenue Team Manager is to organise and support the day to day running of the Revenue Management Team. Working with the Commercial Revenue and Forecasting Manager as well as collaborating with the DCE and freight teams (particularly the sales teams) you will implement revenue management practices by facilitating and actioning the pricing strategies and optimising the companies Revenue Management System. Main tasks and Responsibilities Manage and provide logistical and tactical support to all members of the revenue management team to ensure pricing strategies and key revenue management activity are delivered effectively. Working with the sales insight analysts and develop KPIs to track performance, around pricing strategy performance, system performance and forecasting accuracy. Provide solutions to all team members in terms of planning and Revenue Management resources. Collaborate with sales teams to plan pricing strategies and calculate potential benefits based around new departure type methodology. Ensure revenue management system is operational and developments are on time and on budget. Maintain and action the revenue management road map in collaboration with Sales and Commercial Insight teams. Performance measures: Production of high quality MI High levels of engagement within the team Skills and Attributes Ability to manage a team, inspire high levels of performance, improve low performance and create high levels of team engagement whilst working to tight deadlines. Strong analytical capabilities. Able to use tools such as Excel (or more sophisticated) to manipulate data to draw conclusions. Ability to understand the functionality and capability of systems and tools is essential. Ability to assist others (team members/internal clients), lead workshops, and presentation on revenue management topics. Ability to organise and plan team tasks while ensuring delivery of Revenue Management objectives. Ability to analyse, integrate business processes, document information and the functionalities of the related systems. Ability to work effectively with different cultures. Methodical, organised, self-reliant, available, pragmatic and able to train/transfer knowledge. Good communication, negotiation, influencing and engagement skills, especially when dealing with internal stakeholders. Knowledge and Qualifications Experience and good track record in team management. Strong user of Microsoft office applications (especially Excel and Powerpoint). Knowledge of travel industry knowledge is highly desirable. Experience working in revenue management and with RTS revenue management systems is highly desirable. French language skills are desirable. Full driving licence (car) required. This is a Monday - Friday role with great benefits.
