Overview

Are you an Administrator with experience in working in an Engineering environment? Adecco are currently recruiting for a Technical Support Officer to work for a Local Authority based in Twickenham. TECHNICAL SUPPORT OFFICER TWICKENHAM FULL TIME - 36 HOURS PER WEEK TEMPORARY ROLE - 3 MONTHS MINIMUM £15.00 PER HOUR PAYE / £19.50 (approx.) UMBRELLA The post will be working in the Traffic and Engineering team supporting Engineers and Project Managers with routine financial reporting and administering public consultations on traffic and highway projects. Experience in working in an engineering environment and strong Excel skills would be advantageous. The main duties will be: Using the corporate finance system (Integra) raising Purchase Orders and maintaining local records of commitments against project budgets Receiving and checking invoices for approval by project managers Receipting and forwarding invoices for payment, resolving any issues that might arise Running reports from the corporate timesheet system (PROFESS), seeking Project Manager approval and updating project financial records Monthly reconciliation of local records with Integra, identifying errors and resolving them with Project Managers/Finance teams Preparing spreadsheets and reports in Excel and other MS Office applications Compiling consultation packs for public consultations for minor traffic works and projects, working with engineers/designers Arranging postage/distribution to consultation areas within agreed timescales Dealing with enquiries during the consultation period and compiling responses Presenting the results of the consultation to Project Managers Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
