Overview
Care Assistant based at Moorland House, Hathersage Permanent - Part Time - 22 hours per week. 8am-8pm (2 shifts, no weekends) Commutable areas include Sheffield, Chesterfield, Buxton and High Peak. The role requires individuals who: Are flexible in their approach and sensitive to the needs of residents Enjoy the company of older people Have a willingness to learn and develop Work well as part of a team Have the ability to form positive relationships with residents, their families and professional colleagues Moorland House is a residential care home situated in the beautiful Hope Valley in the village of Hathersage. The home has 48 places providing residential care. All rooms have en suite facilities. The location, writes the home's Manager, enjoys panoramic views of the Peak National Park "and offers a quiet, relaxing pace of life." But in the end, a home is more than simply its location.
