Overview
Job Description: Recruiting for an experienced bookkeeper who can take responsibility for a variety of bookkeeping and payroll tasks, including but not limited to: Balancing and maintaining accurate company ledgers (manually and using an accounting system). Processing purchase orders, sales invoices, receipts and payments. Stock management. Completing both weekly and monthly payroll. About the Company: An established family owned and run company who operate within the Interiors sector, a distributor of furniture and accessories. A small friendly office environment with a mix of ages and genders. Key Skills/Experience Required: Qualified bookkeeper with extensive experience of working as the sole bookkeeper within a successful organisation, processing thousands of transactions per month. You must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel, and be prepared to provide administrative and clerical support as needed. Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principals is essential.
