Interim Financial Controller

An interim Financial Controller is required for 6 months to spearhead the modernisation of SME organisation. This role is offering free parking, flexible working, and working directly with the business owner. The Interim Financial Controller will evolve the financial processes and controls to keep pace and adapt to the increasing demands of new product offerings. Reporting to the Managing Director you will be tasked with the following: Ensure internal controls and resources are adequate to maintain internal authorisation procedures Process improvement Assist in yearly preparation of budget / cashflow Preparation of half year / year end statutory accounts Prepare and report actual vs forecast on a quarterly / weekly basis Manage the month end reporting process Prepare monthly management accounts Review Balance Sheet controls What you will need: Experience in job roles such as; Finance Controller / Financial Controller / Finance Manager / Finance Director / Assistant Finance Controller / FC / Deputy FC / Financial Accountant / Management Accountant / Audit Senior Qualification - ACA / ACCA Previous experience with process improvement / controls Experience within an SME organisation Strong communication skills What you will get: An opportunity to transform the entire finance function Free parking Flexible working hours The Niche Partnership is acting as a recruitment business in relation to this role.
