Overview
Role- Junior System Administrator Location- Guildford Term- Permanent Salary- Up to £32,000 per annum (depending on experience) I am looking for a Junior System Administrator to join my client based in Guildford. As the Junior System Administrator, you will support, manage and test internal systems and software sites. If you have previous experience as working in an IT Support environment or have a strong educational IT background, looking to kick start your career, I would love to hear from you The Junior System Administrator will have some of the following attributes: Previous experience working in an IT Support environment or have a strong educational background in IT (degree level) Experience working with either Windows or Linux based operating systems Basic networking knowledge including the TCP Stack Knowledge of any cloud providers would be beneficial- Azure or AWS or Google Cloud etc Basic scripting knowledge would be beneficial but not necessary Experience troubleshooting to resolve issues As the Junior System Administrator your main duties will include: Support business users with internal issues, remotely and deskside Work with routers, servers and cloud technologies Assist with installation of any new infrastructure related hardware Maintain systems and networks within the business Implement and set up any new technology within the business Patches of operating systems and software Support all software sites Install new software suits and operating systems Work closely with the Development teams and implement code As the Junior System Administrator your benefits will include: Up to £32,000 salary depending on experience (with opportunities to earn more) Generous holiday package Continuous training and progression offered Paid IT Certifications If you are interested in this Infrastructure Support Engineer position based in Woking, please apply with an up to date CV ASAP
