Overview
Our client, Whirlpool UK, are a leading kitchen appliance retailer, and are looking for more 7.5 Tonne drivers to join their team in Barnsley. This is a customer-facing role, delivering, and sometimes installing, appliances to up to 25 customer's homes per day throughout the Yorkshire area. You will ideally have; A sound knowledge of road and tachograph legislation. A good geographical knowledge of the UK. A Class C1 (7.5T) licence is essential. Excellent customer care skills. Ability to work on own initiative. Relevant and recent driving experience Other Requirements; Willing to undertake training in wet connections and electrical connections. A flexible approach to working hours. Possess good physical fitness due to manual handling requirements. Be of clean and tidy appearance. These are ongoing positions with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right people, so we are looking for enthusiastic, keen and dynamic people, who are willing to learn and become part of a successful team. This is a 7 day a week operation so you will need to be able to work some weekends, with days starting between 5.30am and 6.30am, usually finishing between 3pm and 5pm. Full on the job training is provided for the right people, with immediate starts available. Pay rates are; £10.00 per hour after training, with training paid at £9.00 per hour (PAYE), Ltd Co also welcome, at £1.00 per hour premium. Immediate starts are available.
