Production Packing / Assembly Operatives

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, fast growing company. They are currently seeking experienced Production Operatives to further strengthen their Production team based in Barnsley. Packing & Kitting Operatives prepare kits of components ready for Assembly and packing of the finished product, whilst the Assembly Operatives assemble kits of high precision components and will involve the building and balancing of the CHRA element of a turbocharger. They supply precision-engineered turbochargers, core assemblies, repair kits and individual turbo components to the professional turbocharger aftermarket. You must be educated to GCSE (or equivalent) including Maths and English (grade C or above). It is essential that you have had previous experience in a role requiring high quality output and possess a high level of manual dexterity. Previous experience of working in an engineering environment and assembling precision components would be preferable. Kitting/Packing Operatives hourly rate starts at £8.21 rising to £8.74. Assembly Operatives hourly rate starts at £8.32 rising to £10.51 (pay award pending). You will work 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday from 7.30 am - 4 pm.
