Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant Location: Salford Salary: £40,000 - £50,000. Owned by a larger parent company, they are a world leader in their niche industry supplying products/services to a lot of global businesses. We are looking for someone ACA/ACCA Qualified. Fully in charge of the month-end process of two brands Producing OPEX accruals and prepayment schedules Depreciation calculation Reconcile SAP to the retail sales system Liaising with group companies to confirm inter-company balances and submit monthly reports Balance sheet preparation, reconciliation with the P&L, and brand allocation Shared service centre and general office brand allocations Maintenance of the fixed asset register and management of authorisation process Liaise with and utilise the Company's external tax advisors for tax planning and advisory work Collate information for Corporation Tax POAs and annual return Tax analysis and preparation of calculations for NI including P11Ds, PSA and TAS Work with the Finance and Operations Director on tax project work Provide assistance in the gathering of information and documentation for external audit purposes including HMRC and external auditors Experience: ACA or ACCA Qualified Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role Good knowledge of tax procedures Excellent IT skills (Excel) Commercially aware
