Technical Author / Writer (IoT API Golang NodeJS). Are you a Technical Author with a software development background? As a Technical Author you'll make an impact through enhancing the current model of technical writing, shaping processes as the organisation navigates a period of growth. From API design to optimising complex technical content and designing visual documentation with UI/UX teams; you will have an opportunity to inject your personal flair and work on exciting projects. The ideal candidate will be a confident self-starter, committed to producing quality work and able to translate passion for technology into business impact for prospect and customers. You'll own complex writing projects at the leading edge of technology, so a technical background and keen interest in the software development process is imperative. Requirements: You have experience as a Technical Author / Writer, and are driven to produce elegant, functional content You have a technical / software development background You have a solid understanding of where and why technical documentation is important, and where it fits in the SDLC You have experience working with APIs Highly desirable: you are familiar with Golang or Node.JS You'll be based at modern, comfy offices in the heart of Shoreditch with excellent transport links, weekly team lunches and a fantastic team culture.
