Overview
Our client is well-established name within the water management industry, with a reputation for providing professional water treatment/hygiene services to a high profile client base. They are presently recruiting for a versatile and multi-skilled Water Hygiene Engineer based in and around the Nottingham area. The successful applicant will be experienced in carrying out water hygiene duties such as temperature monitoring, water sampling, and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems. Previous experience in remedial plumbing will also be advantageous. Applications will be considered from Leicester, Burton-on-Trent, Grantham, Chesterfield, and the surrounding areas. Requirements & Attributes: Ideally will have come from a good educational and chemical background and will have hands on experience working as Water Hygiene Engineer, within the water treatment/water hygiene industry. Must have excellent communication skills, both written. Will be fully conversant the water treatment/water hygiene industry legislation and ACOP L8. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. Will have excellent organisational and client facing skills. Role will Encompass: Visiting sites and carrying out the following tasks: Monitoring the client's air and water systems and ensuring that they comply with the current Health and Safety legislation. Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems and cooling towers. Carrying out checks temperature monitoring, conduct routine sampling and analyzing water systems. Carrying out plumbing work as and when required. Collating and producing accurate service reports whilst still maintaining the company's standards. Liaising with the clients on a regular basis - building and maintaining good working rapport. In general, the successful post-holder will be competent, flexible and reliable, will have good work ethic and the ability to work independently and under pressure.
