Overview
If you enjoy being on the move and confidently driving staff and service user to local destinations, then join the team as a Driver & Maintenance Assistant. You will join a shuffle service team to help staff and service users commute to local amenities and events, it is integral that you are a confident driver with good time management. You will also take care and responsibility of company vehicles and will have a clean and full UK driving license. Your Responsibilities: Transporting service user's and escorting to/from various locations throughout the UK To help in maintaining Company vehicles, ensuring that they are roadworthy and safe at all times. Reporting any defects of the companies vehicles immediately. Supporting the Maintenance Supervisor and Facilities and Special Projects Manager carry out a plan of maintenance work for the unit Being a point of contact for contractors to carry out requested works. Taking delivery of products ordered and store securely and safely. Supporting the Maintenance Supervisor to carry out a variety of weekly tests, such as, fire alarms, emergency lighting systems and all magnetic door devices. Maintaining up-to-date fire logbook. Maintaining the security of external areas including paths, car parks, refuse and storage areas, etc. litter picking. Any reasonable tasks requested by the supervisor or manager, which is within your competence To be successful in this role, you will: Clean full driving license. Time management. Previous experience. Good communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Location : Chesterfield Road, Shirland, Alfreton, Derbyshire DE55 7DT You will be working at Field House and Apartments - a 16 bed specialist rehabilitation service for women with a Mental Illness and/or Personality Disorder. The service offers a blended model of rehabilitation that combines a traditional rehabilitation environment with single and dual occupancy apartments, to provide a seamless care pathway for women with a Mental Illness and/or Personality Disorder and a history of trauma and/or attachment disorders. You will work in an environment where there is a strong emphasis on positive risk-taking which enables self-reliance and builds trust and self-esteem, with a focus on psychological input.
