Overview

SAP BI HANA Data Consultants are required for a major leading Consulting Partner hiring for a business unit that covers a range of information functions including BI, data management, Data Science, Big Data, analytics and Content Management. The team is one of the largest and most successful SAP BI teams in the UK delivering innovative SAP EDW, SAP reporting solutions and enterprise BI thought leadership to the clients. The team is growing and expand its pool of SAP Data Services consultants. We are therefore are looking for Consultants with SAP Data Services ETL and data modelling skills. Experience in SAP HANA data modelling or BW would be beneficial, but not essential and transition to SAP Data Hub toolset will be offered. SAP HANA BI - Senior Consultant will work on things such as Managing delivery of SAP BI Projects. Collaborating with client stakeholders and help them define, classify and prioritise their Requirements, working with colleagues to design solutions that exploit the capabilities of HANA and Data services and look beyond the traditional EDW to consider a more distributed information architecture. The SAP HANA BI - Senior Consultant should be able to take ownership of the data modelling and ETL for one or more functional areas for the full project implementation lifecycle. The suitable candidate would have core skill sets such including most of the following experience-: Building SAP data services ETL processes and data modelling for Enterprise data warehouses. Knowledge of multiple SAP processes and data structures. Analysing existing processes, resource profiles and work with clients to evaluate testing priorities within a Risk Based Testing approach. Work with Project Managers to develop a plan for any regression testing and relevant remediation with the ability to develop Test Scripts and Test plans. Experience with configuration of connections within Data Services, working in large projects and integrating into teams, SQL expertise, exposure to / understanding of replication processes for SAP SLT and HANA SDI/ SDA all coupled with a strong understanding of data modelling. The Salary offered to the SAP HANA BI - Senior Consultant will be dependent on experience and grading in the interview process. This is a professional services consulting role and as such the candidate must be fully mobile and can live anywhere in the UK but must have full rights to work in the UK without requiring work permit sponsorship.
