Job Description: We are now recruiting a Workshop Supervisor to join our passionate HGV maintenance team in Park Royal, London on a Fixed Late Shift. As a Workshop Supervisor you will be actively managing the routine operation of the workshop, liaising with customers and developing our technicians to meet our market leading service levels. About You In order to be a success in the Workshop Supervisor role you will need to share both our values as a business and also to be able to demonstrate success in a similar role. You will talk passionately about teams of technicians you have led in the past and will show that you can lead from the front and empower your teams to do the right thing and make the right decisions. As a market leader our people take pride in their work and your teams will reflect this. You will have a good track record in Commercial Vehicle maintenance along with the relevant NVQ, C&G or similar qualifications and will be able to articulate what you have done in your career to successfully deliver a similar service in a similar environment. Duties will include: Organising workshop workload ensuring company quality and efficiency standards are achieved. Supervise workshop employees and monitor performance levels. Ensuring Health & Safety policies and procedures are actively followed. Control maintenance expenditure and identify maintenance cost savings and performance improvement opportunities. Providing proactive advice and support to customers to assist them in safe and cost-effective operation of vehicles. Ensuring a highly productive and motivated workforce dedicated to high quality vehicle maintenance.
