Nursing Home Manager Location: Boston Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £47,000 plus bonuses. Workings hours: 40 hrs per week Benefits: On-site parking Discounted/free food Bonus scheme Flexible working hours Casual dress Experience: Nursing: 5 years (Required) Education: Certificate of Higher Education (Required) Licence: NMC (Required) Flexible Working Options Available: Flexitime My client is looking to hire a registered nursing home manager for our 40 bedded home (rated good current CQC inspection) in Boston, Lincolnshire. This management opportunity is for someone who is seeking to develop their career, has a genuine concern for the elderly and we would welcome applicants from a solid nursing care background, with a self-motivated, disciplined attitude to assist with service planning and delivery. The manager will have full support of a Deputy and full time Administration Manager. The required role will need to have : - full working knowledge of CQC requirements and an appreciation for the Policies and Procedures which govern the safe running of the home ensure the delivery of quality, person-centred care manage budgets and the financial effectiveness of the setting recruit, train and supervise staff chair meetings and deliver training take on a visible leadership role maintain quality standards and ensure health and safety compliance liaise with and maintain partnerships with other local community organisations ensure any regulatory activity, such as personal care and administering medicines, is delivered within regulations provide information, advice and support to residents' families Requirements of this Nursing Home Manager role include: Nurse qualified (RGN, RMN or RNLD) NMC PIN active and the legal right to work in the UK. S/NVQ4 in social care. You’ll also either have a Registered Managers Award Level 4, or Leadership and Management in Care level 4/5, or willingness to study for one. Previous Nursing Home Manager experience - with a Good or Outstanding CQC report Experience - should have experience in leading an organisation through a successful CQC inspection - should have at least 4 years experience in providing care - should have 2 or more years of management experience This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89943248
