Overview
Head Nurse Location: Near to Egham Salary: £40-45K Hours: Full time during term time 3 weeks. Includes overnight and weekend shifts Job role: Responsible for the day to day organisation, coordination and supervision of nursing staff within the Health Centre during School term time. Responsible for the recruitment, selection and development of nursing staff recruited to work in the Health Centre Lead, develop and empower the team of nurses to deliver exceptional standards of care. Assist with triaging students and assessing nursing care requirements to support nurses when required Work with Director of Pastoral Care and the Dean of Student Life and others to support health education within the School Skills and experience: Registered Nurse or RN (Child) or equivalent with evidence of continued education. School Nurse/Nurse Practitioner Qualification or equivalent experience. A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a School Nursing, Minor Injuries Unit or Practice Nursing. At least two years in a leadership and management position or equivalent experience. Please note this is not the extensive list of the Job role.
