Overview
There is a reputable and well-established accountancy firm, based in Maidstone, who are seeking a Semi Senior Accountant to join their growing team. You will be exposed to a varied portfolio including sole traders to limited companies and the work includes: Duties • Bank reconciliations and a huge variety of workload. • Preparation of accounts for a varied number of accounts. • Prepare personal tax returns. • Answering client queries over email and phone calls. • Prepare and review VAT returns. • Bookkeeping and management accounts production may be required. Ideal Candidate • We are looking for someone with AAT qualified or part qualified ACA or equivalent, with the desire to obtain the full professional qualification. • Someone with 2 or more years of practice experience. • Previously worked with Xero and/or QuickBooks would be desirable but not essential. This position will offer £27-32k salary with benefits, please feel free to apply if you think your current/previous experience reflects this.
