Overview
Job Title: Community Companion Location: Countywide Salary: £9.00 per hour Hours: 4-37 hours per week Contract: 6 Months Fixed Term Due to the spread of COVID-19, there are many vulnerable members of our community who urgently need our support. To do this, the role of Community Companion has been created to provide assistance with everyday tasks such as: Collecting & delivering prescriptions or medication from local pharmacists Help with shopping or basic household tasks Driving them to medical appointments Providing companionship through conversation If you are already helping friends or family with these tasks, you would be a perfect fit to help other vulnerable citizens. We will provide relevant training and support. Having access to transport would be beneficial but not essential.
