Overview

This leading PE backed Technology business is looking to appoint a Financial Controller reporting into the Chief Financial Officer and be responsible for a team of 4 staff. This is a market leading SaaS organisation with strong current financial performance and ambitious growth plans. The business sells globally, operates in multiple currencies and has operations both in the UK and overseas. Customers are located on a global basis. The role will drive development of a first-class finance function requiring excellent team leadership and technical skills, with a requirement to include the provision of high - quality management reporting and metrics. The position will have considerable autonomy and will require continuous interaction with senior management team and exposure to Board members. Key Responsibilities: Manage, develop and build a best in class finance function and processes. Oversee preparation of monthly consolidation and management accounts and the provision of all KPI’s for the operating and statutory boards of the group. Management of the year end audit process and overall responsibility for all group tax matters and statutory reporting. Supervision of the credit control function and delivery of robust cash flow reporting and analysis. Management of outsourced Payroll providers in three countries. Finance system and process development. Challenge the business in a constructive way, driving continued commercial performance and value creation. Work with the CFO on ad hoc projects supporting growth and profitability. Knowledge, Skills, Experience: You will have experience within a SaaS based business where high volume, low value transactions are a key feature of the operating model. Strong accounting and financial controller experience in a multi-currency organisation. Attention to detail and a hands on approach to driving improvement. Ability to build good relationships with other stakeholders and to work autonomously. Able to communicate financial matters to the business with clarity and transparency. A qualified accountant with very strong technical skills Excellent Excel capability with finance systems development/replacement experience. Management and development of a small team.
