Overview
Due to company growth, we are currently assisting our client with the recruitment of a part-time Office Administrator to join their small team based in South Cambridgeshire. This role is suited to an individual looking to work around 20 hours per week. You will be expected to work all 5 working days (M-F) but will have flexibility in what actual hours you on work on these days between the hours of 9am - 5pm. The successful candidate will be friendly, approachable, team-oriented and have a proven ability to support a customer-focused business. Your key duties will include: General reception duties (answering the phone, open post, arrange deliveries) Oversight of service providers (cleaners, IT support vendors, office maintenance) Ordering and maintaining stock and office supplies Coordination and organisation of meetings for staff and clients Formatting client documents Support for business finances (collation and review of staff timesheets and expenses) Diary and travel management for staff Provision of logistical support as needed for internal and external events (conferences, presentations) Any other support deemed as required to support business growth and development To be considered for this exciting role, you will need the following experience: Full knowledge of MS Office with advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Some familiarity with scientific/medical terminology would be advantageous Experience with undertaking internet searches for product information and literature searches Experience of working in a small company environment and able to work happily within a small team unsupervised
