Overview
MI & Data Analyst required for my client a leading West Midlands based financial organisation. The role: Work closely with the business functions, assess business requirements, perform data analysis and produce MI. Support the MI Centre of Excellence, wider Finance. Deliver high quality, cost effective Management Information Solutions ensuring the requirements can be met by available data and that any changes to processes and systems are fully explored and understood. You will manage, document and verify MI through the full lifecycle. Using proof of concepts and prototypes to refine and prioritise final requirements with business owners. Data Analysis to evaluate availability and quality of data, identify transformations and produce draft data models. Experience required: Excellent Data Analysis (relational and Dimensional, file systems, semi structured, unstructured, models and spreadsheets). Business Analysis and Process Modelling Data Modelling and Data Warehouse methodologies Excellent Stakeholder Management Ability to use the following systems/technologies: SQL Business Intelligence and Enterprising Reporting tools (ideally Cognos Report/Query Studio v10) Discovery/visualisation (Tableau, SAS VA, Qliksense, PowerBI) Netezza MS Office including VBA Catalogues/Metadata solutions (e.g. Collibra) preferred but not essential This is a chance to join a well, established expanding financial organisation supporting the business from the Coventry office.
