The job As NPD Technologist, your job will be responsible for the process of concept to launch for new products and the continuous process of existing products. You will develop new products/ideas, create, finalise and manage internal recipes, manage the NPD process of recipes from NPD to final launch, creation of internal paperwork (QC sheets, photo standards, procedures), costing of new and current products, work with suppliers to obtain samples, product specifications and commercial information plus create product descriptions and organise production trials. Your experience The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy with an understanding of legality within food law legislation and changes. A strong passion for food and food product development is essential Also, a food science, food technology, patisserie or bakery qualification is highly desirable. This role may suit a recent food graduate who has completed an NPD placement and looking for their first food industry job. You will be IT literate including Microsoft Office, be highly organised and have a methodical work approach.
