Overview
We support 3 males and 1 female who have a learning disability and live in our supported living service in Pocklington. We are looking to grow our team of dedicated, experienced caring and enthusiastic support workers. The individuals in the service require support in many different ways. The type of support you will be providing would be around administering medication, helping with personal care, and offering support to live independent and happy lives.Being a support worker isn't just about making day to day life easier it's about having fun Fun for these 4 individuals could be anything from listening to 60's music, visiting friends and family, or going to see Hull City play. Supporting someone with their daily life is not a 9-5 job. You will need to be able to work across a range of different days and shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, bank holidays and some sleep-ins. We realise that your quality time is important too, so your rota is prepared well in advance - Got a request, something special going on? Your manager will certainly try to help you meet it.
